The Equilux range of security shutters incorporate single phase tubular motors which can be operated via BMS, remote control or standard switching. The control solutions are tailored to suit client requirement and can be operated via iphones and personal PCs from anywhere in the world.
Remote control enables shutters to be zoned together to suit the design and operation of the building. shutters can be zoned per room and per elevation as well as altogether or individually, with up to 99 zones the options are endless. The i-Touch is an entry level control featuring hard wired push button or key switch operation.
Individual shutters can be grouped together for master control through command relays and can accept override commands from intruder or fire alarm systems. i-Touch controls integrates with a battery back up upgrade to ensure operation in case of power failure.
As an entry level system, there is no provision for future change of command pattern, or options to install obstacle detection, status indication, or BMS integration.
The radio based i-Command control system utilises a radio platform with a rolling code decoder system ensuring a great combination of security and ease of use.
Radio receivers mounted within the motor receive and process command signals and there is no visible control box or control system. Command is provided from a range of attractive hand held transmitters that provide total flexibility and ease of use. i-Command allows simplistic step by step control sequences, can be programmed to operate the shutters when the building is unoccupied and can have group controls changed easily in the future.
As a mid level system, i-Command has all the functionality of the i-Touch system but adds obstacle detection as an optional upgrade.

Building on the attributes of i-Touch and i-Command systems, the i-Control uses an open protocol network based control system. Clients demanding total control can operate the shutters from remote location through smartphone technology, and receive feedback in real time from the status indication system.
As total service providers, operational feedback can be built into the control system – allowing us to respond with maintenance visits on pre-agreed service intervals. In addition, shutter operation monitoring provides response to malfunction without waiting for client request.
CR100 Manual Override Crank Handle
In the event of a power failure a manual override facility is recommended for the main entrance of a building. The crank handle facilitates the manual winding of the shutter into the raised position.
EYO100 Manual Override Eye Outlet
The shaft inserts into the motor through a 10mm hole in the wall, enabling the shutter to be raised with the manual override crank handle.
UNI100 Universal Manual Override outlet
The universal outlet provides a permanent manual override eyelet that is fastened to the wall.
BB100 Battery Backup

Battery backup for larger shutters. A battery backup solution will be recommended in order to enable entry to the building during a power failure.
FAI 100 Fire Alarm Interface Panel

The Fire alarm interface is required in order to raise a shutter in the event of a fire, a health and safety requirement for every shutter over a fire exit.

RE4 Four Motor Group Controller
In order to operate up to four shutters from a single key switch a ‘Four Motor Group Controller’ would be required.
